Course FAQ

Specific to this program.

Is .NET in demand in Pune?

Yes. MNCs like Persistent Systems, Infosys, Capgemini, and Accenture heavily use .NET for enterprise applications. Pune's IT sector has consistent hiring for .NET developers across service companies and product firms.

Do I need C++ or Java experience to join?

No. We start C# from scratch. Programming logic helps but is not required. The course is designed for freshers from any degree background, BE, BCA, BSc IT, or any other discipline.

What is the difference between .NET and Java?

Both are enterprise-grade platforms. .NET is Microsoft's stack using C#, while Java is platform-independent. Many Pune companies use both. .NET is especially strong in Microsoft-partnered MNCs and Windows-heavy enterprises.

Will I learn Angular in this course?

Yes. Module 3 (weeks 11–15) covers Angular 17+ with TypeScript, component architecture, reactive forms, RxJS, and consuming ASP.NET Core APIs from the Angular frontend.

Does this course cover Azure deployment?

Yes. Module 4 includes Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, and Application Insights for production monitoring.

Is .NET Core different from .NET Framework?

Yes. .NET Core (now simply .NET 8) is cross-platform, modern, and performance-oriented. The older .NET Framework is Windows-only and mostly in maintenance mode. This course teaches .NET 8.

How long is the .NET Full Stack course?

5 months (20 weeks), live instructor-led. The last two weeks include your capstone project, mock interviews, and resume/LinkedIn preparation.

Can I attend the course online from home?

Yes. Every session is available both in the classroom at FC Road, Pune and as a live remote session. All sessions are recorded and shared within 24 hours for revision.

What is the fee for the .NET Full Stack course?

The course fee is confirmed during your free demo call. We offer flexible payment options. Book a free demo, no payment or commitment required, and we will walk you through the structure.

Do you provide placement support?

Yes. We provide resume and LinkedIn building, 10+ mock interviews covering both technical and HR rounds, and active support throughout your job search.

What certifications align with this course?

AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate) aligns closely with the Azure and ASP.NET Core content in Module 4. We will guide you on certification paths during the course.

Is .NET good for freshers?

Yes. Microsoft's .NET ecosystem has excellent tooling, comprehensive documentation, and strong IDE support through Visual Studio. It is one of the most structured environments for learning enterprise development as a first language.

Why .NET Full Stack is a smart career choice for Pune software developers in 2025

The .NET ecosystem is one of the most deeply entrenched technology stacks in Indian enterprise IT. Pune's large MNC campuses, Persistent Systems, Capgemini, Infosys BPO, Accenture, and dozens of mid-sized product companies, run significant portions of their product portfolios on ASP.NET Core APIs backed by SQL Server. For a fresher choosing a first language in 2025, .NET offers something that newer stacks cannot: a large, predictable volume of job openings at companies that have been hiring .NET developers consistently for over a decade.

The transition from .NET Framework to .NET 8 (formerly .NET Core) has also reinvigorated the platform. It is now cross-platform, containerisation-friendly, and competitive in raw performance benchmarks. Teams that were maintaining legacy .NET Framework codebases are actively migrating to .NET 8, and that migration work is driving a fresh wave of hiring for developers who understand modern .NET alongside the old Framework conventions.

Angular, the other half of this course's stack, is particularly well-matched to .NET shops. Both are strongly typed (TypeScript on the frontend, C# on the backend), both favour convention over configuration, and both are backed by large organisations (Google for Angular, Microsoft for .NET) that invest heavily in tooling and documentation. Teams that run .NET often run Angular because the developer experience feels consistent across the full stack.

What does TechSummitTrainers' .NET Full Stack course cover in 5 months?

The five-month program at TechSummitTrainers on FC Road, Shivajinagar covers the complete .NET full-stack developer path:

  • Module 1, C# and .NET Foundations (Weeks 1–5): C# OOP, LINQ, async/await, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server. You build real data-driven applications before writing a single API.
  • Module 2, ASP.NET Core Web API (Weeks 6–10): RESTful API design, JWT authentication, middleware, Swagger documentation, and unit testing with xUnit and Moq. The module ends with a fully tested, documented Web API.
  • Module 3, Angular Frontend (Weeks 11–15): TypeScript, Angular 17+, RxJS, HttpClient, Angular Material, and NgRx state management. You wire the Angular app directly to your ASP.NET Core API.
  • Module 4, Azure, DevOps and Capstone (Weeks 16–20): Docker containers, Azure App Service, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps CI/CD, SignalR real-time features, and your capstone enterprise application deployed live on Azure.

Every module ends in a working project. By week 20 you have a live, deployed full-stack application and a tested, documented API in your portfolio, both things that many freshers lack when they start interviewing.

What .NET skills do Pune's top MNCs actually hire for?

Based on current job descriptions across Pune IT companies, the .NET skills that appear most frequently in fresher and junior-level job descriptions are:

  • ASP.NET Core Web API, Building REST endpoints, handling routing, validation, and serialisation. Almost every .NET backend job requirement includes this.
  • Entity Framework Core, Code-first migrations, LINQ queries, database relationships, and performance tuning. ORM knowledge is expected at every level.
  • C# OOP fundamentals, Interviewers test object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and C#-specific features like delegates, generics, and async/await.
  • SQL Server, Stored procedures, indexing strategies, and query optimisation come up in both written tests and technical interviews.
  • Azure basics, Even junior roles increasingly mention Azure App Service, Azure SQL, or Azure DevOps. Knowing how to deploy and monitor is a differentiator for freshers.
  • Angular or React, Full-stack roles expect at least working knowledge of a modern frontend framework. Angular is particularly common in .NET shops.

This course is built directly around this skill set. It does not include anything for the sake of completeness, every topic in the curriculum maps to something interviewers for .NET roles in Pune actually test.

.NET vs Java Full Stack, which is better for a career in Pune?

Both Java and .NET are strong career choices in Pune, and both have deep employer bases in the city. The honest answer is that the right choice depends on what kind of company you want to work for and what you find more natural to learn.

Java is the larger volume play, Pune has more Java openings than .NET simply because TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Cognizant all run Java-first shops. If your priority is maximising the number of job applications you can make in your first month of job searching, Java has the statistical edge.

.NET is the stronger choice if you are drawn to Microsoft-aligned companies (Persistent, Capgemini, Accenture) or product companies that have standardised on the Microsoft stack. .NET roles also tend to offer slightly higher fresher salaries on average, partly because there are fewer .NET freshers than Java freshers in the market.

In practice, the most important factor is not the language but the depth of your understanding of whichever stack you choose. A mediocre Java developer and a mediocre .NET developer both struggle in interviews. A developer who truly understands async/await, dependency injection, testing, and deployment in .NET will out-compete most other applicants regardless of the specific technology.

If you are genuinely unsure, the free demo is the best place to decide. Both mentors at TechSummitTrainers will give you a direct, honest recommendation based on your background and goals, not a sales pitch for whichever course has open seats.

How to prepare before joining a .NET Full Stack course in Pune

You do not need to prepare anything before joining this course, it starts from scratch. But if you have a few weeks before the batch starts and want to hit the ground running, the most useful things to do are:

  • Get comfortable with any programming language basics. Even 10 hours of Python or JavaScript tutorials will make C# variables, loops, and functions feel familiar from the first day. The specific syntax does not matter, the concept of a variable, a function, and a loop is universal.
  • Install Visual Studio Community Edition (free) and create a "Hello World" console app. Getting your development environment set up removes a friction point in the first week.
  • Read one article on what a REST API is. Understanding the concept of a client sending an HTTP request to a server and receiving JSON back will make Module 2 click faster when you get there.
  • Learn basic SQL. If you can write a SELECT with a WHERE clause and a JOIN, Module 1's database content will feel like consolidation rather than something brand new.

None of these are requirements. They are simply the areas where students who have done any prior preparation tend to find the early weeks easier. The batch is designed to handle complete beginners, and that remains the most common profile we work with.
